Turkish Indian Tourism Council (TITC), a partnership of tour operators, hoteliers, and restaurateurs in Turkey to promote Tourism and cultural exchanges between India and Turkey organised road shows in five Indian cities covering Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai. A delegation of around 10 suppliers from Turkey which included tour operators, hotels and restaurants participated in the road shows. The road shows are part of TITC continuous efforts of educating the travel trade and creating awareness about the destinations in the Indian market. The Council formed some years ago has organised two annual road shows in India earlier.
Speaking to Travel Biz Monitor on the sidelines of road show in Delhi, Ersan Atsur, Honorary Chairman, TITC informed that the basic objective of the Council was to “build close relationship with the travel trade” in India. “We have appointed Pramod Sahni as our Business Advisor in India and he is helping us to create good partnerships in the market to generate some business for Turkish Tourism,” stated Atsur. |
