| | The Tamil Nadu chapters of TAFI, TAAI and IAAI have come together to organise a workshop, 'Do's and Dont's for BSP.' This is for the first time that all three associations have joined hands for an initiative of this kind. The workshop, targeting senior counter staff and accounts executives of travel companies will be held in Chennai on July 28, 2010 and is free for members on first come first serve basis. Participation will be restricted to 150 members.
While the venue of the workshop is yet to be finalised the programme for the workshop has been chalked out. It will comprise of interactive session with airlines, GDS and IATA BSP and cover topics like correct usage of CRS and not misuse of system; procedures to be followed in handling Agency Debit Memos (ADMs) and Agency Credit Memo (ACM's); correct usage of 'dispute button' option made available via IATA-BSP and when and where 'Billing Discrepancy Reports' (BDRs) are to be used and not to be used.
