Tourism Ireland has launched a directory of Irish Country Club members in India. Irish Country Club was formed recently and comprises of 19 suppliers from the Irish tourism industry who consider India as their potential growth market. The 19 suppliers consist of inbound tour operators, hotels, attractions and city tourism organisations. In order to showcase the services of these operators in the country, Tourism Ireland plans to conduct road show in Mumbai and Delhi in September this year. About 100 Indian buyers each from Mumbai and Delhi will be invited for the road show.
Beautiful Planet, the representative for Tourism Ireland in India also plans to aggressively promote these 19 operators to the Indian travel trade. Some of these operators include: Abbey Tours, Aran Island Ferries, Ashford Castle, Ballynahinch Castle, Cliff of Moher, Dublin Tourism, Ovation Ireland and The Merchant Hotel.
Tourism Ireland is also in the process of organising a trade workshop for the new and developing source markets including India, Japan, Middle East, South Africa and China. |
