In a bid to increase awareness of the offerings of Queensland (Australia) in the Indian market, Tourism Queensland will launch the re-vamped version of Queensland Specialist Programme early next month in the country. The revamped Programme will offer comprehensive destination information pertaining to the Indian market and will mainly focus on destinations like Gold Coast, Cairns, Sunshine Coast, Great Barrier Reef, Islands of Great Barrier Reef and Islands of South Queensland. Speaking to TravelBiz Monitor, Anthony Hayes, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Queensland said, “Building trade relationships and getting them right has been the key strategy for Tourism Queensland. Each market has different requirements and the best way to understand the market is through the travel agents. We are going to soon launch the re-vamped version of our Specialist Programme on an online platform which will help agents to know more about the state and also help in promoting it.” |
