New Delhi-based B2B travel agency, Travel Services International (TSI) will launch its B2B portal www.tsi.travel by next month. The B2B portal will allow TSI’s network of B2B agents to book travel related services like airline tickets, packages and a host of other products under one platform. The company is taking a phased approach to launch various products on the B2B website by introducing airline tickets in the first phase, which starts from next month. In early 2009, the second phase of the product launch, the company is slated to offer packages – both outbound and inbound along with travel insurance.
“Apart from offering airline tickets, packages and travel insurance, we plan to provide other products like cruises, rail and bus passes for local travel in India, which will be offered once the packages and travel insurance go live on the website,” informed Varun Mohindra, COO, TSI. The website will provide a log-in id and a password to their agents and will offer payment options like deposit or bank guarantee. TSI is also integrating the system for payment through credit cards. |
