Turkish Airlines to start daily operation from Delhi and Mumbai from tomorrow

Turkish Airlines will start their daily operations from both the existing destinations in India – Delhi and Mumbai, from tomorrow. The airline has been flying four-days-a-week from Delhi and three-days-a-week from Mumbai so far. The airline has also replaced its earlier fleet A-310 with A-330 adding more capacity per flight from India. While the former had 210-seat capacity, the latter will offer 250 seats with independent entertainment screens. Apart from revamping the in-flight services, the airline also guarantees its passengers ‘a restaurant above the clouds’ with offerings of tastier Indian dishes on board these flights.

Announcing the commencement of daily operations from both Delhi and Mumbai at a press conference in New Delhi today, Dr Temel Kotil, President & CEO of Turkish Airlines said that the airlines has enormous faith in the potential of the Indian market and the current crisis will not last for long. Also present on the occasion were Mete Akandere, General Manager – India, Turkish Airlines; Selim Ozturk, General Manager South India, Turkish Airlines; and other Turkish airline officials.
