With an aim to create more awareness about the destination and its tourism products in the Indian market, Turkish Tourism will launch various marketing campaigns this year. As part of its initiative, Turkish Tourism has already launched its outdoor campaigns with ads on billboards and hoarding across Delhi and Mumbai. In order to reach out to both B2B and B2C clients in the market, it will also launch campaigns through print and electronic media under the tagline ‘Turkey is ready’. N Sevgi Boz, Culture and Tourism Counsellor of Turkey in India said, “We are also looking at ‘co-advertisements’ with leading players in the travel trade in the coming months. We couldn’t do it last year because of some budget constraints.”
The Turkish Culture and Tourism office in India will also consider organising expositions, festivals, etc., in various Indian cities. The India office had organised Turkish film festival and food festival in Delhi last year as part of cultural exchanges between the two countries. “This year we will consider organising these shows in Mumbai as well, apart from Delhi,” added Boz. |
