| | According to a PTI report, Kumari Selja, Union Minister for Tourism has proposed a single window tax system on Golden Triangle route - Jaipur-Delhi-Agra to the Transport Ministry for the convenience of visitors expected to converge in Delhi for the Commonwealth Games 2010. The Games will open up business opportunity for the capital and neighbouring states.
“I have spoken to Transport Minister Kamal Nath about a single window tax system for the Golden Triangle route for the convenience of tourists. His response was positive,” said Selja. Speaking on the sidelines of the one-day workshop on World-Class Tourism Infrastructure’ in New Delhi yesterday, Selja said that with over one lakh foreigners expected to throng the city during the Commonwealth Games 2010, the tourism industry must gear up to reap benefits.
