The US Consulate General recently organised an interactive travel seminar Summer Vacation 2010: Destination USA at the American Centre in Mumbai. The seminar focused on promoting America and its tourist places of interest, latest offers, attractions, exciting events and happenings that Indians can enjoy during their summer vacations in United States this year. The seminar included presentations made by New York City & Co, Continental Airlines, Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Land Resort, Choice Hotel International and Marriot International Inc. The US Visa Consul explained the Visa procedures to obtain Visa for the country.
Richard Rothman, Principal Commercial Officer, US Commercial Service said, “Countless experiences await Indian tourists, from scenic coastlines and mountain ranges to vast prairies, deserts and canyons. This is the second time we have undertaken this kind of an initiative to organise a travel seminar to boost tourist traffic to USA.”
