| | ‘Wellness Tourism’ will be this year’s theme for the forthcoming annual convention of Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), scheduled to be held at Jaypee Palace, Agra from August 27 to 29, 2010. According to Vijay Pande, President, Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) and Chairman of the Convention, around 1,000 delegates from across India are expected to attend the convention in Agra.
A heritage walk will be organised by Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh and planting of tree saplings by the convention delegates at a park in Agra. A cooking session ‘Mirch Masala’ will be conducted by celebrity Chefs Manjit Gill and Rakesh Sethi.
Pande said, “We have Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Tourism Guild of Agra and Uttar Pradesh Hotel & Restaurant Association (UPHRA) as partners for the convention.
