Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel & Lakeside Chalet, Mumbai – Marriott Executive Apartments appoint Aparna Banerjee Paul as Marketing and Communications Manager

With over two decades of relevant experience in Marketing & Communications across several hotels and other industries, Aparna has recently joined as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel & Lakeside Chalet, Mumbai – Marriott Executive Apartments. She will be responsible for the overall marketing activities at these properties including devising appropriate marketing strategies towards maximizing hotel revenues.

Prior to her appointment, Aparna was heading the Marketing and Communications at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata. Aparna is an experienced hospitality professional with a career span of around 10 years in the Hospitality industry. She began her hospitality career with Fairmont Raffles Hotel International where she handled a diversified portfolio of a brand new hotel and the launch of the Indian restaurant Durbari. She has also worked at Accor where she launched Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residencies, eastern India’s largest five-star hotel in 2014. She organized launches of several restaurants for Novotel such as The Square – the coffee shop and Studio – the speciality restaurant for Pan-Asian, before joining Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, where she successfully launched threesixtythree˚, the redesigned world cuisine address in January 2017.

Aparna is also a skilled trainer for Behavioral and Communication skills and is competent with a plethora of writing styles for different mediums and platforms. She likes to develop her teams to be better professionals as well as responsible humans with each day. She believes in the power of collaborations and synergizing. Apart from Hospitality, Aparna has spent several years at multiple positions in Telecom, Chemical Gases, Banking and the Tea manufacturing industry.

At her leisure, Aparna is an avid reader and a lover of the performing and culinary arts. She is a trained fashion designer from the International Polytechnic for women, Delhi. She has also trained to be journalist and media professional apart from her English literature studies. She actively follows theatre, world cinema and exhibitions at art galleries and loves to travel with her family, when time permits.
